base OFFICE 项目的核心，是对空间因地制宜地利用和改造，将一个个老旧、局促的房子变成全新的设计式的办公空间，同时联结餐饮、零售等商业功能。皋兰路和安亭路上的 base OFFICE，就是两处焕然一新的改造典型。

Authenticity is at the core of base projects - for each project, the team tries to best utilize the original features of the site while pouring new life into the building with functional design and rich aesthetic texutres. base OFFICE on Gaolan and Anting road are two typical cases.

▌皋兰路base OFFICE，现BMW办公室

现在，皋兰路18号是一座独栋花园洋房办公楼租售平台。改造前这里是民国企业家虞洽卿的故居，改造后于2011年成功引进了BMW宝马互联驾驶中国研究院和宝马集团 DesignworksUSA 上海工作室。

Gaolan Park was home to a well-known Chinese entrepreneur, Yu Qiaqing in early 20th century. Now it is the office of BMW Internet Driving Research Institute China and BMW DesignworksUSA Shanghai studio.

删繁就简的设计改造，一改先前的局促，空间变得简洁且高效。为了满足BMW的办公需求，翌成bass团队将一楼改成了前台区域及会议室，二楼、三楼用作研发中心，四楼是 DesignworksUSA 上海工作室，而视野宽阔的五楼则成了餐厅和屋顶花园。

The renovation kept the original structure of the building, and adapted the space into functional office sections. In addition to the working, the rooftop is dedicated to the kitchen and a spacious open-air lounge area.

宝马互联驾驶中国研究院在上海的入驻，是 BMW 走近中国客户的重要一步。

The BMW Internet Driving Research Institute China was a step forward for the brand in China.

▌安亭路base OFFICE，现高级定制婚纱店

在安亭路上也有这样一栋建筑，在bass团队经手整改后，风格大变。

On the quiet Anting Lu, base gave a complete make-over to the original building.

改造前这里是一家，改造后的房子卸掉了原本脱跳的配色，一股大气简洁的摩登气息扑面而来，不久一家高级定制礼服店入驻了。

The new design broke up the symmetry, took off the gaudy colors and gave the building a clean modern look with a touch of playful elements. It soon became home to a haute coutour atelier.

内院原本单调的布置，变得富有趣味，旋转楼梯让空间一下就活泼了起来。

The bamboo and spiral staircase lit up the yard, bringing the sky and trees beyond the walls into the frame.
